That client who argued about a $47 invoice for two months finally paid yesterday

Had a guy back in March owe me $47 for some quick copy edits. He kept saying the work wasn't up to his standards then ghosted me. Yesterday he Venmoed the full amount with no note. No apology, no explanation. Not sure if he just got tired of my monthly follow up emails or what. Has anyone else had a small debt suddenly get settled after you completely gave up on it?

Venmo seems to be the new place where all the weird, unexplained stuff happens. People post about ghost charges and random payments showing up from nowhere, it's like the digital equivalent of a creaky floorboard.
