That client who wanted a 3-page contract for a $200 job

Had a guy last spring who insisted on a 12-round email negotiation over a logo tweak. He wanted itemized hourly breakdowns for a job that should have taken 90 minutes. Has anyone else dealt with someone who treated a small project like it was a million dollar deal?

A friend of mine had a client pay for a $50 logo then demand 3 rounds of revisions on the color palette like it was a Nike rebrand. She finally just refunded him and blocked his email.

Hey for $50 you can't really complain about a few extra tweaks, that's kind of the deal you signed up for.

Oh man, that reminds me of the time my neighbor paid someone $30 to design a flyer for his garage sale. The designer gave him a perfectly fine layout with a cartoon car and some prices. Then he asked for the car to be replaced with a detailed drawing of his actual 1998 Honda Civic, complete with the dent on the passenger side. The designer sent back a stick figure. They went back and forth for a week until he finally gave up and used MS Paint himself.
