That client who wanted a fixed price with unlimited revisions taught me a hard lesson about picking per-project vs per-hour.
I chose per-project because I needed the money fast but ended up doing 14 rounds of changes for a $500 logo that should have taken two days, has anyone else had a flat fee blow up like that?

I mean, maybe it's just me but charging per project actually keeps me honest about my scope instead of dragging things out. I'd rather eat the extra revisions once than track every 15 minute increment forever.
