Took 6 hours to fix a coffee stain on a white shirt because the client insisted on in-person meetings

Spent three hours scrubbing and three more trying to get the stain out with baking soda and vinegar. How much time do you budget for looking presentable when a client demands face to face?

Wait SIX HOURS on a single coffee stain? That is INSANE.

Oh man, "three hours scrubbing and three more trying to get the stain out" - that is way too relatable. I spent a good two hours once just spot-treating a shirt collar with dish soap before a client meeting, only to realize the stain was still there when I got to the cafe. Now I just budget an extra 45 minutes for a full outfit check and keep a backup shirt in my car, because nothing ruins a presentation like showing up with yesterday's coffee still on your sleeve.

Haha @fionanguyen, I feel this so hard. Last month I scrubbed a salsa stain with dish soap and baking soda for like an hour, then threw it in the wash still wet and ended up with a permanent faded spot on my favorite blouse. Now I always lay out my outfit the night before and do a quick flashlight check for mystery stains before I leave the house.
