Saw a solar farm near Phoenix that's basically a wildlife graveyard - birds dropping like flies from the reflection heat. But the town loves it for cheap power. Are we trading one disaster for another? What's the right call?

Heard the reflected heat can actually help some desert birds cook their food on the ground, so maybe they're not all just dying but learning a new trick?

Right because dead birds is totally the price of saving the planet, guess we should just hand them little sunglasses next time. Maybe the solar panels are doing us a favor by weeding out the weak flyers idk. It's like every "green" solution has some secret downside nobody wants to talk about until the bodies pile up. Cheap power is great and all but not if it turns the desert into a crematorium for anything with wings. Maybe we could like put some shade sails over the panels or something so the birds aren't getting microwaved mid-flight. Feels like we keep jumping from one disaster to another and calling it progress.
