The bag of shredded paper that made me quit buying packaging peanuts
I used to toss out those foam peanuts without a thought, but last month I shredded old bills and junk mail to pack a vase for my sister in Portland. It took about 10 minutes and now I keep a bin by my desk for any shipping I do. Anyone else repurpose their paper waste like this for moving or gifts?

Ten minutes! That's all it took? I've got a closet full of foam peanuts from one online order and they're still sitting there. I can't believe I never thought of just shredding my junk mail. I get like twenty credit card offers a week. That's basically a free box of packing material every month. Wild.
