Used to haul 5 bags of recycling to the curb, now I drive 20 minutes to a drop-off in Aurora
For years I just dumped everything in one bin and felt fine about it until my kid asked me where it actually goes and I had no clue. Turns out our pickup service was charging $14 a month and sending most of it to the landfill anyway, so I started sorting glass, metal, and paper myself and taking it to a center near Aurora. Does anyone know if those drop-off spots actually recycle what you bring, or am I wasting gas for nothing?
