Why does nobody talk about the plastic wrap on new appliances?
Tbh I just unboxed a new mini fridge for my apartment in Austin and it had 4 layers of plastic film, plus foam, plus two styrofoam blocks, all for a $180 product. My old fridge from 2008 had maybe one sheet of wrap, so the packaging has tripled in 16 years. Anyone else noticing this trend with their own purchases and wondering what we're supposed to do about it?
