Had a coolant line blow off at 3 AM during a long run
One side says you shut it down and clean up, the other says you clamp it and keep going to hit the deadline. What's your call?

Clamp it and keep going? That's how you turn a long run into a forever walk home, lmao. I'm shutting it down before I cook the engine for good.

Smart call, @kai_foster. Too many people treat a coolant leak like a minor drip. What was the actual symptom that made you pull over? Overheating gauge, steam, or just a low fluid warning? Knowing the first sign can tell you a lot about how bad the damage might already be.
