Settled on a 4th axis for my 5-axis mold work, was it worth it?

Had a job in Cleveland last month, 30 inserts that needed angled ports, and I was stuck between using a tilt fixture or just buying a used 4th axis. I picked the 4th axis because the setup looked faster on paper, and it did cut my cycle time by 40 percent. But the alignment on that old unit was a pain, took a full shift to dial in, so would you guys stick with a fixture for small batches or invest in the axis?

Fixture dies for repeat jobs, axis pays off once you trust the alignment.
