Watched a guy try to use a 3/4 inch end mill for a finishing pass in Denver last month

The sound it made was like a dumpster falling down a flight of stairs. Anyone have a good rule of thumb for when to switch tools?

Yeah, that's a universal thing. People try to make one tool do everything to save time. See it with kitchen knives, drill bits, even software. Always ends up costing more time fixing the mess.

My apartment complex bought these "multi surface" cleaners for every unit last year. Now the bathroom tile grout is stained and the wood floors look hazy. They're paying a deep cleaning service to fix it next month.

Notice this with people who buy those all-in-one shampoo conditioner body washes too. Their hair looks terrible and their skin gets dry, but they swear it saves time.
