Code review feedback made me stop nesting everything
Ive been learning Python for about 4 months now, mostly making little scripts for my job at a warehouse in Tulsa. A guy on a discord server looked at my code and said "you have like 8 levels of indents, no one can read this." He showed me how to flip the logic and return early instead of wrapping everything in if/else chains. Took me a weekend to redo my inventory tracker, but now its way shorter and I can actually spot bugs faster. Has anyone else had that moment where one piece of feedback just clicks and you rewrite all your old code?
