Dropped $200 on a bootcamp and it was a total waste

I signed up for this 8 week web dev bootcamp thinking it would fast track me into a job. It was just them reading slides and giving basic homework. Learned more in a free YouTube series in like 3 days. Anyone else get burned on a paid course like that?

Wait, "reading slides" for 8 weeks? That's wild. I would have walked out after the first session if someone was just reading off slides at me for $200. You could literally go to your local library and watch someone read a PDF for free. And the fact that homework was basic too sounds like they just copied some free tutorial and slapped a price tag on it. That's such a bummer, sorry you got stuck with that.

Didn't I read somewhere that most of those "bootcamps" are just money grabs with recycled content?
