Hot take: a bootcamp grad at a meetup in Dayton said skip tutorials and just break things, now I'm torn
I ignored that advice for 2 months and did Codecademy instead, then got stuck on a simple to-do app because I couldn't debug anything without a walkthrough. The other side of it: my buddy broke his way through and built a working site in 3 weeks, but he still can't explain how a loop works. Which camp are you in, learn the basics first or just build and Google your way out?
