Hot take: it took me 5 hours to figure out a simple CSS flexbox layout

Everyone says flexbox is easy and beginner friendly. Been at it for 3 months now. Needed three boxes side by side on desktop and stacked on mobile. Kept getting overflow errors and weird spacing. Finally realized I was missing a flex-wrap property and a width setting on the parent. 5 hours for one dumb property. Honestly made me feel like quitting for a bit. Has anyone else had a simple CSS thing take way too long for no good reason?

lol yeah flexbox will do that to you. That one dumb property can eat your whole afternoon.

Wait, you really think justify-content was the issue the whole time? I used to blame the parent container or my own sanity when things didn't center right, but honestly you've got a point. That one property has definitely wasted more of my time than I'd like to admit.

@flores.mark tell me about it. spent a solid four hours once trying to center a div, only to realize justify-content was set to flex-start the whole time.
