Saw a stat that 70 percent of people quit learning to code in the first month, and now I get why
Honestly I read this on a freeCodeCamp blog post last week and it stuck with me. It said about 70 percent of folks who start a beginner coding course drop off within the first month. I started learning Python in January on my lunch breaks, maybe 30 minutes a day. The first two weeks were rough. I kept getting stuck on indentation errors and felt dumb every time. But once I got past loops and wrote a tiny script that renames my files, something clicked. I think the reason people quit is they hit that wall and assume they're not built for it, when really everyone hits it. I'm curious what kept you going past the first month, or if you did quit once, what made you come back?
