Spent $80 on a Python course that was basically a YouTube playlist
Bought it online last month. The site looked professional, promised projects. It was just a guy reading slides. No code examples I could run myself. Felt like a total waste. Anyone know a better place to learn with actual hands-on stuff?

Ugh, that's basically theft. Try freeCodeCamp.

Remember when those coding bootcamps were charging thousands for the same free stuff online. Makes you wonder what you're really paying for sometimes.

So what's the bootcamp premium, a gold-plated mouse? David_palmer's right, you just need to type the stuff.

Yeah, freeCodeCamp is solid because they make you type code right in the browser. I did their scientific computing course and it forces you to solve problems, not just watch. The real key is finding stuff with interactive exercises, even if it's just a simple website. That's how you actually learn instead of just hearing about it.
