Bad week for my pour overs, good week for my wallet
My grinder burrs finally gave out on Tuesday so I dug out an old blade grinder, and I've had 6 straight days of muddy cups that taste like burnt toast. What's the cheapest hand grinder that won't make me want to throw it at the wall?

Man, I feel this in my soul. My burrs died back in March and I spent two weeks with a blade grinder before I cracked. Every cup was either dust or chunks and the flavor was just burnt and flat no matter what I did with the water. I tried shaking the thing while grinding like some kind of idiot and it did not help one bit. You are not alone in the muddy cup struggle.
