Cold brew finally clicked after a $12 mason jar experiment

I always thought cold brew was just weak iced coffee for people who didnt like real coffee, then my roommate left a mason jar of grounds and water on the counter for 18 hours and told me to try it. The smoothness blew me away, no bitterness at all even black, and it took zero effort compared to my usual pour over routine. Has anyone else switched to cold brew for their work week mornings, and do you filter it once or twice?
