Finally chose a hand grinder over an electric one for my morning pour-over

I've been saving up for a new grinder for about 3 months, and it came down to a $200 electric model or a $60 manual one from Timemore. I went with the hand grinder, and the first cup this morning tasted way cleaner than my old pre-ground stuff. Has anyone else made that switch and noticed a big difference in flavor?

But you’ll get tired of cranking it every single morning.

Just get a French press, it's way less work.

Actually, you don't have to crank a French press every morning lol. @thea_bell is right that it's less work, but the thing is, a French press doesn't have a crank at all. That's more for those manual burr grinders people use to grind the beans first. The press itself is just pour hot water, stir, wait four minutes, and push the plunger down. It's way simpler than messing with a machine or cranking anything.

It's just coffee, not a science project.
