Just realized coffee subscription services are more hassle than help

I signed up for a popular coffee subscription that sends new beans every month. It's frustrating because I often get flavors I don't like and now have bags piling up. Why do people act like this is the best way to enjoy coffee at home?

Wait, I never thought about how these services actually stop you from exploring. You're just stuck with what they send instead of trying new stuff on your own.

I used to love the surprise but getting flavors I don't like changed my mind completely.

Ugh, this reminds me of when I tried a snack box thing that sent weird flavors from other countries. I got a bag of shrimp chips that tasted like old fish and some super sweet candy that was just too much. It was fun for maybe a month, but then I had all this stuff piling up that no one would eat. I mean, the surprise is cool until you get stuck with things you hate. Maybe it's just me, but those services feel like a trap after a while.

Read an article about how these boxes can kill the fun of finding stuff yourself. It said you end up with a pile of random things instead of stuff you actually picked out. Kinda takes the joy out of trying new things when it feels forced.
