Question about the barista at the shop on 5th who said my grind was too fine
I was getting a 30 second pull on my little Gaggia and thought I had it dialed in, but the barista at the shop on 5th tasted it and said my shots were sour because the grind was too coarse, not fine. I fought her on it for like ten minutes, then went home and went two clicks finer and the shot went from sour to sweet in one try. So now I'm wondering if I've had this backwards for a year, what's the tell for you when a shot is sour versus bitter?
