Realized I was using stale beans for 6 months after a shop in Denver let me taste fresh roasted

I always bought pre-ground from the grocery store until a barista handed me a cup and said 'this is what yours should taste like' - the difference was insane. Has anyone else had that moment where suddenly everything clicked?

6 months is rough, I've had bags go bad in 2 months and it's just disappointing. You buy good stuff hoping it lasts and then it's just sad. Sorry that happened to you, it's a waste of money and good coffee.
