Spilled a full chemex on my lap at a bus stop in Portland at 7am

I was rushing to catch the 12 bus with a fresh brew I'd just made, hit a curb, and the whole carafe went down my jeans while two people watched, so now I'm wondering if anyone has a travel mug that actually seals tight or if I should just accept coffee baths as part of my routine?

Portland bus stops have a way of humbling people, I swear. That cold coffee soak is a rite of passage I wouldn't wish on anyone, but at least it was fresh and not yesterday's sludge.

Man, I totally used to think people were just being dramatic about that whole Portland bus stop thing. Like, how bad can a little coffee spill really be, right? Then last month I watched this lady take a full venti to the chest and just stand there, frozen, while it dripped down her coat, and I finally got it. That moment of pure defeat before she even looked down is burned into my brain now.
