The barista at Blue Bottle told me to stop using tap water for my pour overs...
I laughed it off last month when he said my local water was ruining my coffee. Two weeks ago I finally bought a $25 gallon of filtered water from the store and tried it. The difference was insane like a whole new bag of beans but I already had it ground for my V60. Now I'm stuck using tap water again until I grab another jug this weekend because the taste is just not the same anymore. Has anyone else had a shop employee's random tip totally mess up your normal routine?
