Unpopular opinion: watching a barista pull 47 shots in a row was the most mesmerizing thing I've seen all week
Stood at the counter at a place in Portland and counted them out of pure boredom, and the espresso puck prep never once changed. Am I the only one who thinks watching a good barista is basically free ASMR?

Its the sound of the grinder and the steam wand that gets me, honestly. 47 shots is wild though, that barista has serious focus. I'd be zoned out by shot ten lol. The whole thing is weirdly calming in a way I can't explain.
