Hot take: bagging and boarding EVERY single comic is a waste of money

I used to bag and board every issue I bought, even dollar bin filler. After my last move I realized I spent like $60 on bags and boards for comics I will never read again. Has anyone else just started bagging only key issues and leaving the rest in short boxes raw?

Heard someone say they use poly bags for short term storage but it's a game changer.

and then you accidentally buy the wrong size and end up with a bunch of tiny bags that barely hold a sock, right? like @cora813 i swear i'm my own worst enemy sometimes, but yeah, for short term stuff they're actually great.

@cora813 that "game changer" part is spot on. I started using poly bags last year for my fall sweaters and it freed up so much closet space it was wild.
