I mean, some folks act like changing a character's hair color is a war crime. My trick is to just not dive into those comment sections at all, it's like avoiding a swamp. Going in just knowing the basic plot from a trailer is the way to go, lets you actually enjoy the popcorn.

I saw your thing about tiny movie changes. My friend Mike used to read every online argument about Marvel stuff, like why a costume was the wrong shade of blue.
