Our debate over buying variant covers finally got a fix
Half my crew buys them all, half skips most. I made a list based on art and saved cash, how do you choose?

I buy variants only if I love the artwork.

Seriously, nobody talks about shelf space. Even @elliot_wright2's perfect art picks add up, and then you're out of room.

Let's be real, is this cover debate even worth the stress? @elliot_wright2 gets it, buy the art you love. I've seen people go broke chasing every variant for a series that flopped. It's just comics, not a stock market. Making lists and saving cash is smart, but don't let it ruin the fun. At the end of the day, we're all just here for the stories.

Honestly, Nora's spot on about the stress part. I've seen friends get so caught up in cover hunting that they forget to actually read the books. Like @elliot_wright2, I only grab variants if the art really speaks to me, but even then, it's easy to overspend. Tbh, the best collections are the ones where you remember the stories, not just the covers on your shelf.
