Honestly that's the kind of moment that makes you see how much we rely on things staying connected. Like when your phone charger cord gets frayed and just stops working, but that's a minor hassle. This is life or death, a literal lifeline getting tangled. It happens with ropes on boats, garden hoses, even headphone wires in your pocket. Makes you wonder what other simple links we take for granted until they suddenly fail, you know?

Guess we should all start carrying pocket scissors as a safety measure.

Imagine the sound of that snip.

Hear that little snip and your whole day just changes. One second you're fine, the next you're watching your lifeline float away. Makes a phone charger giving out look like a walk in the park.
