I finally had a reg failure on a 4-inch suction hose at the worst time
Last Tuesday down at the Portland job site, my 4-inch suction hose blew a fitting while we were pumping out a cofferdam and we lost 20 minutes scrambling to swap it. Back when I got into this trade, hoses seemed to last forever, but now the fittings just don't hold up the same way. Anyone else notice the rubber and crimps on newer hoses going soft faster, or is it just my bad luck?
