Just had the best Tuesday in my 8 years of doing this
Last Tuesday everything lined up perfect. First call was a simple power supply swap at a law office downtown, took 20 minutes. Second was a ransomware scare that turned out to be a false alarm because the receptionist installed a screensaver. Third was a server migration I'd been dreading that finished 2 hours early. Zero angry customers, zero return visits, wrapped up by 3pm. Has anyone else ever had a day where nothing went wrong?

I read that kind of day is called a "unicorn shift" in some circles.

Last Tuesday I had three calls blow up in my face, not to rain on your parade or anything. The law office power supply? It was a bad motherboard they didn't tell me about until I was done. The ransomware scare? Turned out to be a real crypto locker after lunch that took the whole network down. The server migration? I had to roll back at 7pm because a permissions file got corrupted. Your mileage may vary, but in my experience days that start too perfect are usually setting you up for a fall.

Man, that sounds like a real Tuesday alright. I swear if my first coffee goes down too easy I start checking my bag for a trap.
