Noticed something weird at a Best Buy repair counter last week
I was dropping off a client's laptop and saw three different people bring in towers with the sides taped on with packing tape. Is that a common thing now or did I just hit a weird day?

Maybe it's just me but people have given up on actual fixes and just go with whatever works for a few days.

Ryan_hart38 I totally get what you're saying. It's like the whole world runs on quick fixes now, not just tech stuff. You see it with everything from people patching drywall with toothpaste to relying on duct tape for car problems. It feels like nobody wants to learn how something actually works anymore, they just want a bandaid that lasts until tomorrow. Maybe it's just me but that approach usually ends up costing way more time and money in the long run. Seems like we're all just stuck in this loop of temporary solutions that barely hold up.
