Got schooled by an old timer on a job in Boise about broom finishes.

I was finishing a driveway and this guy, Frank, who used to run a crew in the 80s, watched me for a minute. He said, 'Kid, you're pulling that broom like you're mad at it. You gotta wet it more and drag it light, like you're dusting a shelf.' I'd been doing it the hard way for years. How do you all handle your broom work on big flatwork?
