Lol, motor oil in the bathroom is a classic mess. First thing, don't use water to clean it up, it just spreads. Cat litter or baking soda works great to soak it up before you wipe. And yeah, that smell sticks around forever if you don't use a degreaser. Learned that the hard way too, my floor had a slick spot for weeks.
