Our quick tarp save during a sudden storm

During a driveway pour, a storm blew in out of nowhere. We had tarps ready and threw them over the wet concrete. It kept the rain off and let us finish once the weather passed. Always keep covers handy, it paid off big time.

My neighbor's concrete cracked last year because he didn't seal it. I learned you need to wait at least 30 days after pouring before applying the sealer, and do it on a dry day. What kind of sealer did you end up using?
