Had a week where 3 predictions I made in January all came true, now I don't know if I believe myself
Back in January I wrote down 3 things I thought would happen by spring: a local election recount, a food recall on a brand I won't name, and a big weather event hitting the Gulf in early March. All 3 happened within 9 days of each other last month. My wife says I just noticed them because I was looking for them, and honestly she might be right, because I had like 40 other guesses that went nowhere. But the timing was weird enough that I started a notebook to track everything now, 47 entries so far and only 3 hits. So here's my question for this group: is tracking hits after the fact real evidence, or am I just doing the thing where you remember the wins and forget the misses? Where do you draw the line between pattern and coincidence?
