Heard a guy at Starbucks claim 9/11 was an inside job because Building 7 fell, and I pushed back
Tbh I think people jump to 'inside job' way too fast just because something looks weird. I looked up the NIST report after that conversation and found a solid engineering explanation about fire weakening steel beams. Has anyone else read the actual report and still believe the official story is faked?

Yeah exactly, @the_hayden. If there was a massive cover-up involving that many people, someone would have cracked by now. Building 7 falling makes total sense when you look at the actual fire damage and the unique way it was built.

Read an interview with one of the NIST engineers a few years back. He basically said they spent months just figuring out how that building was put together, because it really was a weird design with those transfer trusses. You don't go through all that effort if you're just covering something up. And the whole "they paid off the engineers" thing always gets me too. Like, come on, think about how many people would have to stay quiet for that to work. It's just way easier to believe the fire did it than a global conspiracy that never leaked.

Oh man same thing happened to me at a diner last year. Guy was so sure about Building 7 but when I brought up the NIST report he just waved it off and said "they paid off the engineers." Like okay dude, thousands of engineers all kept quiet for 20 years, that makes total sense.
