I used to think the moon landing stuff was all nonsense, but a friend showed me a video from 1999
It was a lecture from an engineer who walked through every single technical argument against it and just dismantled them with basic physics. I mean, I watched the whole thing and now I can't unsee how shaky the hoax claims are. Anyone else have a specific piece of evidence that totally flipped their view on a conspiracy?

That part about the engineer using basic physics to take apart the arguments is what got me too. I saw something similar about the flag waving. They just explained how moving it in the low gravity made it swing longer, not that there was wind. Once you hear the real science, the hoax stuff falls apart pretty fast. It's all just people not understanding how things work up there.

Yeah, the flag thing is a perfect example. It's like the go-to "proof" for people, but the real explanation is so simple once you hear it. It's honestly kind of frustrating how these ideas stick around just because the science isn't flashy. I get why people are suspicious of big events, but sometimes the boring truth is right there.
