My brother told me the moon landing fakes were too obvious, now I'm not so sure

He swore up and down that the flag waving in a vacuum was a dead giveaway. I spent 3 hours last night going over NASA's own footage and found a shadow that bends around a corner near the lander. Has anyone else dug into the specific lighting angles from Apollo 11 and found something weird?

Wait, did you check multiple Apollo missions or just 11?

My buddy Dave got super into this last year. He bought a used telescope off Craigslist and tried to track the Apollo 11 landing site from his backyard. Spent like two weeks bugging me about shadow angles, then one night he sent me a photo he took of the moon with his phone through the eyepiece. Said he could see a dark spot near the Sea of Tranquility that matched the lander's location from NASA maps. He never could get a clear shot of any weird shadows though. @samreed, Dave only checked Apollo 11 since that's the one he had data for.

Does it really matter if a shadow bends when we're debating something that happened 50 years ago on a TV screen? Sounds like a fun rabbit hole but probably not worth losing sleep over.
