My uncle told me to ignore the moon landing stuff, but I dug in anyway

About two years back, my uncle, who worked as an engineer for a big company, told me flat out, 'Don't waste your time on the moon landing hoax talk, it's all noise.' He said the tech checks out if you look at the real data. I didn't listen. I spent maybe three months deep in forums and watching those long, shaky videos. I even bought a book, 'Dark Moon,' for twenty bucks. The more I looked, the more the 'evidence' fell apart under basic stuff, like how shadows work or the way flags move. My uncle was right. The debate isn't about facts, it's about feeling smart for spotting a 'lie.' It just makes you ignore the actual cool thing they did. Has anyone else gone down that rabbit hole and come out the other side feeling kinda silly?

That book's sourcing felt like my last diet fad.

What finally made you see through the "Dark Moon" book's arguments?

Remember reading a book about lost cities that felt convincing until I checked the maps. The author had moved mountains, literally, to fit his story. That kind of shaky fact-checking is what made me question "Dark Moon" too.
