Serious question, does the moon landing hoax crowd know they're using the same arguments as flat earthers?
So I went down the rabbit hole last week after a client mentioned something about the moon landing being fake during a showing, and I started reading through some of the old forum threads from like 2008 to 2012. I counted 47 separate threads on one forum alone that made the exact same three points about the shadows and the flag, and then when I clicked on the flat earth section, it was the same three points word for word. The weird thing is neither group seems to notice they're basically copying each other's homework, they just keep passing the same talking points back and forth like it's new info. I'm not even saying I believe either side, I just think its wild how these communities end up sharing a playbook without ever admitting it. Has anyone else noticed this cross over or am I just seeing patterns that aren't there?
