Spent $60 on a book about the JFK assassination and it was a total waste

Kept seeing this book recommended in online threads. Bought it for about sixty bucks. It was just a rehash of the same old theories with zero new evidence. Felt like the author was just trying to cash in. Anyone have a solid source that actually digs into new info?

Yeah, the National Archives thing oliviabutler mentioned is a good call... but man, it's a total maze. I got lost in there for hours once and came out with nothing but a headache.

Totally get that, the official sites are a black hole sometimes. You really need to know the exact document number or you're just clicking in the dark. It's why those "maze" books sell so well, even if they're junk.

Ugh, that's the worst feeling, isn't it? What was the book called? I've totally been there, getting hyped for a deep dive and it's just the same old stuff re-packaged. It makes you so suspicious of any recommendation. For what it's worth, I had better luck just digging through the National Archives website myself for declassified files, it's a slog but at least it's the raw stuff.
