Thought the moon landing hoax stuff was total junk until my uncle's 16mm film from Houston got me looking
Tbh I used to roll my eyes at anyone bringing up the moon landing stuff, just wrote it off as internet noise. Then last month my uncle in Houston passed and we found a box of 16mm reels he shot while working contract jobs around the space center in 1969. One reel had about 4 minutes of a press lot scene, and in the background there's a mockup rig that looks a lot like the lunar module, sitting outside in full daylight with guys in coveralls walking around it. I know that proves nothing on its own, test rigs are normal, but it got me reading for 3 nights straight and now I'm way less sure the whole thing is as simple as I thought. I'm not saying it was faked, I'm saying the easy dismissal stopped working for me once I saw how much of the process was staged for cameras. Has anyone here actually dug into the Apollo archive footage and come out more or less convinced?
