Tried debunking a chemtrail post at a BBQ in Tulsa and lost 3 friends
Last month at a backyard BBQ in Tulsa, I tried walking my buddy through the actual science behind contrails, complete with a 15 minute explanation about ice crystals and altitude. He just got quiet, then said I was "one of them" and stopped texting me. I learned that dropping facts mid-argument with people who already made up their minds does nothing except burn the friendship. Has anyone found a way to talk about this stuff without it turning into a fight?
