A homeowner in Mesa watched me tape a joint and said his nephew does it cleaner for half my rate
I was mudding a hallway remodel on Tuesday when he walked up and said it while I had a 6 inch knife in my hand. I told him his nephew is welcome to come finish it and he just laughed like I was joking. Do you guys keep working when someone says that or pack up?

Read somewhere that laughing off rude comments works better than arguing on site.

Laughing it off just teaches them you're an easy target and they keep coming back for more. Calling them out once usually shuts it down for good.
