Question about using a punch list to close out jobs faster

I always thought punch lists were just extra paperwork until I tried one on a deck rebuild last month in Portland. It cut my callback time by 3 days and the customer actually paid 2 weeks early. Has anyone else found a simple template that works for residential jobs?

Dude punch lists are lifesavers in the rain! I had a client slip on wet concrete last week because I missed a spot.

Read somewhere that non-slip mats are cheap insurance for exactly that kind of thing.

Tbh that's the thing with safety stuff - it's always the small cheap items that save you from the big expensive problems. Rain just turns every surface into a hidden hazard.
