Used a shower squeegee on my windows instead of a rag and saved 2 hours on trim cleanup

Was doing a whole house repaint in Nashville and got tired of scrubbing paint splatter off the glass, so I grabbed a $4 squeegee from the dollar store and just wiped each pane before the paint dried, and now I'm wondering why nobody ever told me about this trick has anyone else found a random tool that solved a stupid problem like that?

My husband used my good kitchen spatula to scrape caulk the other day. Guess we're even now on the "wrong tool for the right job" front.

Well, a spatula is basically a flat scraper if you think about it.
