Went with the carbide blade over the diamond cup, 40 ft of tile later I'm glad I did
Had to decide between a $90 carbide blade and a $140 diamond cup for a big porcelain job up in Spokane last month. I mean, the cup guy swore it would last longer, but my old one chattered like crazy on the last remodel. Picked the carbide since I know it cuts clean on hard tile and it held up through all 40 feet of that hallway without slowing down. Any of you guys stick with one blade type for everything or do you swap based on the tile?
