A painter told me my nail gun was too slow, changed my whole setup
He watched me do trim in a Tucson house and said I was spending 3 seconds per nail lining up the nose. I switched to a coil siding nailer for the baseboards and cut that job from 2 days to 5 hours. Anyone else had a pro call out a habit you didn't notice?

Yeah, that "lining up the nose" thing hit home. Had a drywall guy tell me I was holding my screw gun like I was trying to pet a scared cat, and he was right, I was a mess.
